[117] "One who guards deposits (oṇirakkha)" means one who guards goods that have been brought [to him for safekeeping]. If, with thieving intent (theyyacitta), he touches [an article] worth five māsakas or more than five māsakas, there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). If he makes it stir, there is a grave offense (thullaccaya). If he moves it from its place, there is an offense entailing defeat (pārājika).
