[48] (Summary verse of the cases decided:)
The female monkey, and the Vajjiputtakas,
the householder, the naked one, and the sectarians (titthiyā);
the young girl, and Uppalavaṇṇā,
and two others by way of the sexual characteristics (byañjana);
Mother, daughter, and sister,
and wife; the supple one and the long one;
two wounds, and the plaster image,
and the wooden doll;
Five together with Sundara;
five charnel-ground (contemplations)¹ cases, and the bone;
the female nāga, the female yakkha, and the female peta,
the paṇḍaka, the impaired one, touching;
At Bhaddiya the arahant asleep;
at Sāvatthī four others;
at Vesālī three Mallas;
the dream; the one of Bhārukaccha;
Supabbā, Saddhā, the bhikkhunī,
the sikkhamānā, and the sāmaṇerī;
the courtesan, the paṇḍaka, the householder,
with one another, the one gone forth in old age, and the deer.
¹ Here "sīvathikā" refers to the charnel-ground cases in this chapter, not the contemplations of the Satipaṭṭhāna scheme.
