[139] "At twenty-nine years of age, Subhadda,
I went forth, seeking what is wholesome (kusala).
It is now more than fifty years, Subhadda,
since I went forth.
Outside of this [Dhamma and Discipline] there is no ascetic
who practises even a portion of the Dhamma of the right way (ñāya).
"There is no second ascetic; there is no third ascetic; there is no fourth ascetic. The doctrines of others are empty of other ascetics. But if these bhikkhus, Subhadda, were to live rightly, the world would not be empty of arahants."
