Mahāparinibbānasutta

[146] When the Blessed One had attained final Nibbāna (parinibbāna), simultaneously with the final Nibbāna, Brahmā Sahampati uttered this verse: All beings whatsoever will lay down the bodily frame (samussaya) in the world, seeing that such a Teacher as this, without counterpart (appaṭipuggala) in the world, the Tathāgata, attained to power, the Fully Awakened One, has attained final Nibbāna.
