[250] "When this was said, venerable sir, Bhaddā Suriyavaccasā said to me: 'Dear sir, I have not seen that Blessed One face to face; but I have only heard of that Blessed One while dancing in the Sudhammā assembly hall of the Tāvatiṃsa gods. Since you, dear sir, extol that Blessed One, let us have our meeting today.' That very occasion, venerable sir, was my meeting with that sister; I do not say there has been one after that."
Then it occurred to Sakka, lord of the gods: "Pañcasikha, son of the gandhabbas, is exchanging friendly greetings with the Blessed One, and the Blessed One with Pañcasikha." Then Sakka, lord of the gods, addressed Pañcasikha, son of the gandhabbas: "Dear Pañcasikha, pay homage to the Blessed One on my behalf, saying: 'Venerable sir, Sakka, lord of the gods, together with his ministers and his retinue, bows with his head at the feet of the Blessed One.'" "So be it, sir," Pañcasikha, son of the gandhabbas, replied to Sakka, lord of the gods; and he paid homage to the Blessed One, saying: "Venerable sir, Sakka, lord of the gods, together with his ministers and his retinue, bows with his head at the feet of the Blessed One."
[The Blessed One said:] "May Sakka, lord of the gods, together with his ministers and his retinue, be happy just so, Pañcasikha; for gods, humans, asuras, nāgas, gandhabbas, and whatever other numerous classes of beings there are, all desire happiness."
