[267] And if, through the right method (ñāya), awakening (sambodhi) should hereafter come to be for me, I shall dwell as one who has fully understood, and that very state shall be the end. Venerable sir, seeing this fourth benefit, I declare the gaining of such gladness (veda), the gaining of such joy (somanassa).
