[7] Bhikkhus, the Blessed One Vipassī, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, had three assemblies of disciples: one assembly of disciples numbered six million eight hundred thousand bhikkhus; one assembly of disciples numbered one hundred thousand bhikkhus; one assembly of disciples numbered eighty thousand bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, these were the three assemblies of disciples of the Blessed One Vipassī, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, all of them bhikkhus whose taints (āsava) were destroyed. Bhikkhus, the Blessed One Sikhī, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, had three assemblies of disciples: one assembly of disciples numbered one hundred thousand bhikkhus; one assembly of disciples numbered eighty thousand bhikkhus; one assembly of disciples numbered seventy thousand bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, these were the three assemblies of disciples of the Blessed One Sikhī, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, all of them whose taints were destroyed. Bhikkhus, the Blessed One Vessabhū, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, had three assemblies of disciples: one assembly of disciples numbered eighty thousand bhikkhus; one assembly of disciples numbered seventy thousand bhikkhus; one assembly of disciples numbered sixty thousand bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, these were the three assemblies of disciples of the Blessed One Vessabhū, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, all of them whose taints were destroyed. Bhikkhus, the Blessed One Kakusandha, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, had one assembly of disciples, numbering forty thousand bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, this was the one assembly of disciples of the Blessed One Kakusandha, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, all of them whose taints were destroyed. Bhikkhus, the Blessed One Koṇāgamana, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, had one assembly of disciples, numbering thirty thousand bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, this was the one assembly of disciples of the Blessed One Koṇāgamana, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, all of them whose taints were destroyed. Bhikkhus, the Blessed One Kassapa, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, had one assembly of disciples, numbering twenty thousand bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, this was the one assembly of disciples of the Blessed One Kassapa, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, all of them whose taints were destroyed. Bhikkhus, in the present time I have had one assembly of disciples, numbering one thousand two hundred and fifty bhikkhus. Bhikkhus, this was my one assembly of disciples, all of them whose taints were destroyed.
