Suttapiṭaka · Dīghanikāya · Mahāvagga · Vol. 10 · Section 88

[88] While dwelling there at Koṭigāma also, the Blessed One gave this very Dhamma talk many times to the bhikkhus: "Such is virtue (sīla), such is concentration (samādhi), such is wisdom (paññā). Concentration, when fully developed by virtue, is of great fruit and great benefit. Wisdom, when fully developed by concentration, is of great fruit and great benefit. The mind (citta), when fully developed by wisdom, is rightly liberated from the taints (āsava), that is: from the taint of sensuality, the taint of existence, and the taint of ignorance."
