[251] Four ways of undertaking things (dhammasamādāna): There is, friends, a way of undertaking things that is painful in the present and has a painful result in the future. There is, friends, a way of undertaking things that is painful in the present and has a pleasant result in the future. There is, friends, a way of undertaking things that is pleasant in the present and has a painful result in the future. There is, friends, a way of undertaking things that is pleasant in the present and has a pleasant result in the future.
