[261] Four ties (gantha): the bodily tie (kāyagantha) of covetousness (abhijjhā); the bodily tie of ill will (byāpāda); the bodily tie of misapprehension of precepts and observances (sīlabbataparāmāsa); the bodily tie of insistence that 'this is the truth' (idaṃsaccābhinivesa).
