[32] Then it occurred to the Blessed One: "All these foolish men (moghapurisā) have been touched by Māra the Evil One, in that not even to a single one of them will the thought occur: 'Come now, let us live the holy life (brahmacariya) under the ascetic Gotama, if only for the sake of understanding — what will seven days matter?'" Then the Blessed One, having roared his lion's roar in Lady Udumbarikā's wanderers' park, rose up into the air and alighted¹ upon Mount Gijjhakūṭa. And the householder Sandhāna at that very moment entered Rājagaha.
The Udumbarika Sutta, the second, is concluded.
