[324] **Six classes of rebirth (abhijāti):**
1. Here, friends, someone belonging to a dark class of rebirth generates a dark state (dhamma).
2. Here, friends, someone belonging to a dark class of rebirth generates a bright state.
3. Here, friends, someone belonging to a dark class of rebirth generates Nibbāna, which is neither dark nor bright.
4. Here, friends, someone belonging to a bright class of rebirth generates a bright state.
5. Here, friends, someone belonging to a bright class of rebirth generates a dark state.
6. Here, friends, someone belonging to a bright class of rebirth generates Nibbāna, which is neither dark nor bright.
