[332] **Seven grounds for commendation (niddasa-vatthu):** Here, friends, a bhikkhu has keen desire for the undertaking of the training, and his love for the undertaking of the training does not fade in the future; he has keen desire for careful examination of the Dhamma (dhammanisanti), and his love for careful examination of the Dhamma does not fade in the future; he has keen desire for the removal of wishes (icchāvinaya), and his love for the removal of wishes does not fade in the future; he has keen desire for seclusion (paṭisallāna), and his love for seclusion does not fade in the future; he has keen desire for the arousing of energy, and his love for the arousing of energy does not fade in the future; he has keen desire for mindfulness and discretion (satinepakka), and his love for mindfulness and discretion does not fade in the future; he has keen desire for the penetration of view (diṭṭhipaṭivedha), and his love for the penetration of view does not fade in the future.
