[337] Seven underlying tendencies (anusaya): the underlying tendency to sensual lust (kāmarāga), the underlying tendency to aversion (paṭigha), the underlying tendency to views (diṭṭhi), the underlying tendency to doubt (vicikicchā), the underlying tendency to conceit (māna), the underlying tendency to lust for existence (bhavarāga), the underlying tendency to ignorance (avijjā).
