[443] Eight dhammas are of great help (bahukārā); eight dhammas should be developed (bhāvetabbā); eight dhammas should be fully understood (pariññeyyā); eight dhammas should be abandoned (pahātabbā); eight dhammas partake of decline (hānabhāgiyā); eight dhammas partake of distinction (visesabhāgiyā); eight dhammas are hard to penetrate (duppaṭivijjhā); eight dhammas should be made to arise (uppādetabbā); eight dhammas should be directly known (abhiññeyyā); eight dhammas should be realized (sacchikātabbā).
