[475] What ten things should be realized? Ten qualities of one beyond training (asekha): the right view of one beyond training, the right intention of one beyond training, the right speech of one beyond training, the right action of one beyond training, the right livelihood of one beyond training, the right effort of one beyond training, the right mindfulness of one beyond training, the right concentration (samādhi) of one beyond training, the right knowledge (ñāṇa) of one beyond training, and the right liberation of one beyond training. These ten things should be realized.
Thus these one hundred things — real, true, actual, not unreal, not otherwise — have been fully awakened to, rightly, by the Tathāgata.
This is what the Venerable Sāriputta said. Delighted, those bhikkhus rejoiced in the Venerable Sāriputta's words.
The Dasuttara Sutta, the eleventh, is concluded.
The Pāṭikavagga is concluded.
_______________
Summary of this vagga:
Pāṭika and Udumbara,
Cakkavatti and Aggañña,
Sampasāda and Pāsāda,
Lakkhaṇa with Siṅgālaka,
Āṭānāṭiya, Saṅgīti —
with Dasuttara, eleven.
The Dīgha Nikāya, adorned with thirty-four suttas, is concluded.
________________
Thirty-four suttantas,
whose collection is in three vaggas:
this is the Dīgha Nikāya,
the first, in due sequence.
But why is this collection
called the Dīgha Nikāya?
Because it is a gathering and a dwelling-place
of suttas of long measure —
by reason of that gathering and dwelling
it is called the Dīgha Nikāya.
