Ākaṅkheyyasutta

[77] Bhikkhus, if a bhikkhu should wish: "May it be of great fruit (mahapphala) and great benefit for those relatives and kinsmen of mine who have passed away and died, when they recollect me with a confident mind (citta)," then let him be one who fulfills virtue (sīla), devoted to internal serenity of mind, not neglecting meditative absorption (jhāna), endowed with insight (vipassanā), a cultivator of empty dwellings (suññāgāra).
