[276] Thus have I heard. On one occasion the Blessed One was dwelling among the Kurus, where there was a town of the Kurus named Kammāsadhamma, on a grass mat in the fire hall of a brahmin of the Bhāradvāja clan. Then, in the morning, the Blessed One dressed and, taking bowl and robe, entered Kammāsadhamma for alms. Having walked for alms in Kammāsadhamma, after the meal, on returning from his almsround, he approached a certain forest grove for the day's abiding. Having plunged into that forest grove, he sat down for the day's abiding at the root of a certain tree.
