[51] "Householder, suppose a man were to see in a dream a delightful park, a delightful grove, a delightful stretch of land, a delightful lotus pond; and on waking he would see nothing of it. Even so, householder, a noble disciple reflects thus: 'Sensual pleasures have been said by the Blessed One to be like a dream, bringing much suffering (dukkha) and much despair; the danger here is still greater.' … he develops only that equanimity."
