"But, venerable Ānanda, what kind of bodily conduct (kāyasamācāra) is not open to censure by wise ascetics and brahmins?"
"Great king, bodily conduct that is skillful."
"But, venerable sir, what kind of bodily conduct is skillful?"
"Great king, bodily conduct that is blameless."
"But, venerable sir, what kind of bodily conduct is blameless?"
"Great king, bodily conduct that is unafflictive."
