Suttapiṭaka · Majjhimanikāya · Vol. 13 · Section 658

[658] "It is through the cultivation, development, and making much of those very same things (dhammas), Bhāradvāja, that there is the attainment of truth (saccānupatti). To this extent, Bhāradvāja, there is the attainment of truth; to this extent one attains truth; and to this extent do we describe the attainment of truth." "To this extent, worthy Gotama, there is the attainment of truth; to this extent one attains truth; and to this extent do we regard the attainment of truth. But, worthy Gotama, which quality is of great help for the attainment of truth? We ask the worthy Gotama about the quality of great help for the attainment of truth."
