[97] Thus have I heard. On one occasion the Blessed One was dwelling at Sāvatthī, in Jeta's Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika's monastery. Then the master carpenter (thapati) Pañcakaṅga approached the Venerable Udāyī; having approached and paid homage to the Venerable Udāyī, he sat down to one side.
