[165] Bhikkhus, if one speaking rightly should speak of anyone thus: "He is the Blessed One's son, his true offspring, born from his mouth, born of the Dhamma, created by the Dhamma, an heir of the Dhamma, not an heir of material things (āmisa)" — it is of Sāriputta indeed that one speaking rightly should so speak: "He is the Blessed One's son, his true offspring, born from his mouth, born of the Dhamma, created by the Dhamma, an heir of the Dhamma, not an heir of material things." Bhikkhus, Sāriputta rightly keeps rolling the unsurpassed Wheel of Dhamma (dhammacakka) set rolling by the Tathāgata.
Thus spoke the Blessed One. Elated, those bhikkhus rejoiced in the Blessed One's words.
The Anupada Sutta, the first, is finished.
