[246] When this was said, the venerable Ānanda said to the Blessed One: "It is wonderful, venerable sir, it is marvellous, venerable sir! What is the name, venerable sir, of this exposition of the Dhamma (dhammapariyāya)?"
"Therefore, Ānanda, you may remember this exposition of the Dhamma as 'The Many Elements' (Bahudhātuka); you may remember it as 'The Four Rounds' (Catuparivaṭṭa); you may remember it as 'The Mirror of the Dhamma' (Dhammādāsa); you may remember it as 'The Drum of the Deathless' (Amatadundubhi); and you may remember it as 'The Unsurpassed Victory in Battle' (Anuttara Saṅgāmavijaya)."
This is what the Blessed One said. Elated, the venerable Ānanda rejoiced in the Blessed One's words.
The Bahudhātuka Sutta, the Fifth, is finished.
