[419] "Bhūmija, if these four similes had occurred to you for Prince Jayasena, it would be no wonder that Prince Jayasena would have gained confidence in you, and, having gained confidence, would have shown you the manner of one who has confidence."
"But, venerable sir, how could these four similes have occurred to me for Prince Jayasena — spontaneous (anacchariyā), never heard before in the past — as they occurred to the Blessed One?"
The Blessed One said this. Satisfied, the Venerable Bhūmija delighted in the words of the Blessed One.
The Bhūmija Sutta, the sixth, is finished.
