[496] Bhikkhus, furthermore, the counselor-treasure (pariṇāyakaratana) appears to the wheel-turning monarch. He is wise, competent, intelligent, capable of getting the wheel-turning monarch to attend upon those who should be attended upon, to dismiss those who should be dismissed, and to appoint those who should be appointed. He approaches the wheel-turning monarch and says thus: "May you be at ease, sire; I shall administer." Bhikkhus, such is the counselor-treasure that appears to the wheel-turning monarch.
Bhikkhus, a wheel-turning monarch is endowed with these treasures. With which four accomplishments (iddhi)?
