[729] "Therefore, householder, you should train thus: 'I shall not cling to eye-consciousness, and my consciousness (viññāṇa) shall not be dependent on eye-consciousness.' Thus indeed, householder, should you train. Therefore, householder, you should train thus: 'I shall not cling to ear-consciousness … I shall not cling to nose-consciousness … I shall not cling to tongue-consciousness … I shall not cling to body-consciousness … I shall not cling to mind-consciousness, and my consciousness shall not be dependent on mind-consciousness.' Thus indeed, householder, should you train."
