[809] The Blessed One said this. Elated, the venerable Rāhula rejoiced in the Blessed One's words.
And while this exposition (veyyākaraṇa) was being spoken, the venerable Rāhula's mind (citta) was liberated from the taints (āsava) through not clinging. And in those many thousands of deities there arose the dust-free, stainless vision of the Dhamma (dhammacakkhu): "Whatever is of a nature to arise, all that is of a nature to cease."
The Cūḷarāhulovāda Sutta, the fifth, is finished.
