Mānakāmasutta

[19] Standing to one side, that deity spoke this verse in the presence of the Blessed One: "For one who desires conceit (māna) there is no taming (dama) here; there is no sagacity (mona) for one who is unconcentrated; dwelling alone in the forest, heedless, one could not cross to the far shore of the realm of Death (maccudheyya)."
