[199] [The Blessed One:] "Having slain anger (kodha), one sleeps at ease; having slain anger, one does not sorrow. The slaying of anger, O devatā, with its poisoned root and honeyed tip— that is what the noble ones praise; for having slain it, one does not sorrow." The Ratha Sutta, the second.
