[252] Standing to one side, the young deva (devaputta) Candimasa spoke this verse in the presence of the Blessed One: "They indeed shall go to safety — like deer in a mosquito-free marsh — who, having attained the meditative absorptions (jhāna), are unified (ekodi), prudent (nipaka), and mindful (satā)."
