[296] "Where, friend, one is not born, does not age, does not die, does not pass away (cavati), and is not reborn (upapajjati) — I do not say that that end of the world is to be known, to be seen, or to be reached by traveling." "It is wonderful, venerable sir! It is marvelous, venerable sir! How well this has been spoken by the Blessed One: 'Where, friend, one is not born, does not age, does not die, does not pass away, and is not reborn — I do not say that that end of the world is to be known, to be seen, or to be reached by traveling.'" [Siam Raṭṭha page footnote: ¹ "paṇṇarase" is also a reading; ² Yu. (European ed.): "apaviddhā"; ³ Sī. (Sinhalese ed.): "ca".]
