Nānātitthiyasutta

[321] Then Māṇavagāmiya the young deva (devaputta), referring to the Blessed One, spoke these verses in the presence of the Blessed One: "Vipula is called the best of the mountains of Rājagaha, Seta the best of the mountains of the Himavant, the sun the best of those that course through the sky; the ocean is the best of the waters, and the moon of the stars;¹ the Buddha is declared the foremost of the world together with its devas." The Nānātitthiya Vagga, the third. Its summary (uddāna): "Siva, Khema, and Serī, Ghaṭi, Jantu, and Rohita, Nanda and Nandivisāla, Susima; with the Nānātitthiya, those are ten."
