[330] This is what [the Blessed One] said. … "Greed (lobha), hatred (dosa), and delusion (moha), arisen from within oneself, injure the person of evil mind, as its own fruit injures the bamboo (tacasāra)."¹ The Rāja Sutta, the third. ¹ [Variant note in the Siam Raṭṭha edition:] In the Ma. (Burmese) and Yu. (European) editions, "bhante" occurs in between here.
