Kuṭikāsutta

Suttapiṭaka · Saṁyuttanikāya · Sagāthāvaggasaṁyutta · Vol. 15 · Section 43

[43] It is a mother that you call the hut; it is a wife that you call the nest; it is sons that you call the extensions of the line; it is craving (taṇhā) that you tell me is my bond. It is good indeed that you have no hut; good indeed that you have no nest; good indeed that you have no extensions of the line; good indeed that you are released from the bond.
