[593] Then Subrahmā, an independent brahmā (paccekabrahmā), with reference to the bhikkhu Kokālika, spoke this verse in the presence of the Blessed One: "Who here that is wise would presume to define the immeasurable one by taking his measure? One who would take the measure of the immeasurable — I deem him a worldling (puthujjana) with nothing shaken off." The Eighth: The Tissaka Sutta.
