[607] Standing to one side, Brahmā Sanaṅkumāra spoke this verse in the presence of the Blessed One: "The khattiya is the best among this people for those who take clan as the standard; but one accomplished in true knowledge (vijjā) and conduct— he is the best among devas and humans."
