[614] The Blessed One said this: "Bhikkhus, once in the past there was a king named Aruṇavā. Now, bhikkhus, King Aruṇavā had a royal capital named Aruṇavatī. And the Blessed One Sikhī, the Arahant (arahaṃ), the Perfectly Enlightened One (sammāsambuddha), dwelt in dependence on the royal capital Aruṇavatī.
"Now, bhikkhus, the Blessed One Sikhī, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, had a pair of disciples (sāvakayuga) named Abhibhū and Sambhava — a chief pair, an excellent pair.
