[694] Setting at Sāvatthī. Now at that time a brahmin named Mānatthaddha was residing at Sāvatthī. He did not pay homage to his mother, nor did he pay homage to his father, nor did he pay homage to his teacher, nor did he pay homage to his eldest brother.
