[812] Then Maṇibhadda the yakkha approached the Blessed One; and having approached, in the presence of the Blessed One he recited this verse: "For the mindful one (satimato) it is always good; the mindful one thrives in happiness; for the mindful one each day is better, and he is freed from enmity (vera)." [The Blessed One:] "For the mindful one it is always good; the mindful one thrives in happiness; for the mindful one each day is better, but he is not freed from enmity."
