Dutiyasakkanamasnasutta

[935] "He who here is the Perfectly Enlightened One (sammāsambuddho) in this world with its devas — that Teacher of flawless name (anomanāmaṃ satthāraṃ), him I venerate, Mātali. Those in whom lust (rāga) and hatred (dosa) and ignorance (avijjā) have faded away — the arahants whose taints (āsava) are destroyed, them I venerate, Mātali. Those who, for the removal of lust and hatred and for the transcending of ignorance, are trainees (sekhā) delighting in dismantling (apacaya), training on with diligence — … them I venerate, Mātali."
