[953] Then a number of bhikkhus approached the Blessed One; having approached, they paid homage to the Blessed One and sat down to one side. Sitting to one side, those bhikkhus said this to the Blessed One: "Here, venerable sir, two bhikkhus had a quarrel, and in that quarrel one bhikkhu transgressed. Then, venerable sir, that bhikkhu confesses his transgression (accaya) as a transgression in the presence of the other bhikkhu, but that bhikkhu does not accept it."
