[222] Bhikkhus, for one who dwells contemplating the danger (ādīnava) in things that are subject to the fetters, there is no descent (avakkanti) of consciousness. With the cessation of consciousness comes the cessation of name-and-form (nāmarūpa) … Such is the cessation of this whole mass of suffering (dukkha).
