[296] "But, Susima, knowing thus and seeing thus, do you wield the various kinds of spiritual power (iddhividha)? Having been one, do you become many; having been many, do you become one? Do you appear and vanish? Do you pass through walls, through ramparts, through mountains unhindered, as though through space? Do you dive into the earth and emerge from it as though it were water? Do you walk upon water without sinking, as though upon earth? Do you travel cross-legged through the sky, like a bird on the wing? Do you touch and stroke with your hand even this moon and sun, so mighty and so powerful? Do you wield mastery with the body even as far as the Brahmā world?"
