[415] But, bhikkhus, the cessation, the subsiding, the passing away of the earth element (paṭhavīdhātu) — this is the cessation of suffering (dukkha), the subsiding of diseases, the passing away of aging and death. The cessation of the water element (āpodhātu) … the cessation of the fire element (tejodhātu) … the cessation, the subsiding, the passing away of the wind element (vāyodhātu) — this is the cessation of suffering, the subsiding of diseases, the passing away of aging and death. The Seventh.
