[568] Bhikkhus, the single most beautiful girl of the country (janapadakalyāṇī) does not remain overpowering the mind (citta) of that one whose mind gains, honor, and praise (lābhasakkārasiloka) remain overpowering. … So dreadful, bhikkhus, are gains, honor, and praise … . Thus indeed, bhikkhus, should you train yourselves. The second.
