[603] "Seeing thus, Rāhula, the instructed noble disciple becomes disenchanted with forms (rūpa), becomes disenchanted with sounds, becomes disenchanted with odours, becomes disenchanted with tastes, becomes disenchanted with tangibles, becomes disenchanted with dhammas. Being disenchanted, he becomes dispassionate … he understands." The second [sutta]. [Footnote 1: In some places the reading "vimuttamhīti" is also found.]
