[720] "And how, Thera, is dwelling alone fulfilled in the more detailed manner? Here, Thera, what is past has been abandoned; what is future has been relinquished; and desire and lust (chandarāga) for presently obtained states of personal existence (attabhāva) has been thoroughly removed. It is in this way, Thera, that dwelling alone is fulfilled in the more detailed manner."
