[93] Bhikkhus, when a bhikkhu thus understands aging and death, thus understands the origin of aging and death, thus understands the cessation of aging and death, thus understands the way of practice leading to the cessation of aging and death … thus understands birth … existence … clinging … craving (taṇhā) … feeling (vedanā) … contact … the six sense bases (āyatana) … name-and-form … consciousness … thus understands volitional formations, thus understands the origin of volitional formations, thus understands the cessation of volitional formations, thus understands the way of practice leading to the cessation of volitional formations — this bhikkhu, bhikkhus, is called one accomplished in view, and also one accomplished in vision, and also one who has arrived at this true Dhamma, and also one who sees this true Dhamma, and also one endowed with a trainee's knowledge (ñāṇa), and also one endowed with a trainee's true knowledge, and also one who has entered the stream of the Dhamma, and also a noble one of penetrative wisdom, and also one who stands having reached the door to the deathless.
