[103] At Sāvatthī. There … the Blessed One said this: "Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu sees form (rūpa), which is indeed impermanent, as 'impermanent': that is his right view (sammādiṭṭhi). Seeing rightly, he becomes disenchanted. With the destruction of delight comes the destruction of lust; with the destruction of lust comes the destruction of delight. With the destruction of delight and lust the mind (citta) is liberated and is called well liberated.
"Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu sees feeling (vedanā), which is indeed impermanent, as 'impermanent': that is his right view. Seeing rightly, he becomes disenchanted. With the destruction of delight comes the destruction of lust; with the destruction of lust comes the destruction of delight. With the destruction of delight and lust the mind is liberated and is called well liberated.
"Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu sees perception (saññā), which is indeed impermanent, as 'impermanent' … Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu sees volitional formations (saṅkhārā), which are indeed impermanent, as 'impermanent': that is his right view. Seeing rightly, he becomes disenchanted. With the destruction of delight comes the destruction of lust; with the destruction of lust comes the destruction of delight. With the destruction of delight and lust the mind is liberated and is called well liberated.
"Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu sees consciousness (viññāṇa), which is indeed impermanent, as 'impermanent': that is his right view. Seeing rightly, he becomes disenchanted. With the destruction of delight comes the destruction of lust; with the destruction of lust comes the destruction of delight. With the destruction of delight and lust the mind is liberated and is called well liberated."
